Silk + Care Guide

  • Rasgulla Silk

This type of silk is known to be the softest and often described as "buttery." Heavier in weight and feel, this type of silk is less prone to wrinkle.

  • CrΓͺpe Silk

This type of silk is more crisp in texture and the most lightweight and breathable of our silk types. It is considered the most "cooling" and popular during warmer weather.

  • Silk Blend

Many of our recycled silks are a mixture of silk types and may fall somewhere in-between the "buttery" soft texture of our Rasgulla Silk, and the more crisp and cooling texture of CrΓͺpe Silk.

Care + Wash Recommendations

For all garments, we recommend hand washing and laying out to air dry.

If you prefer to machine wash, our clothing can be washed in a dedicates bag on your machine's most delicate/cold wash cycle with no spin. We recommend laying flat to dry.

To effortlessly remove any remaining wrinkles, hang the garment up in a steamy shower or utilize a hand-steamer to quickly smooth out your silky treasures. We advise that you do not use an iron, as this can overheat and burn delicate fabrics such as silk.
